In 2017 I returned to Bangkok, where I’d lived from 2001 to 2006, with the intention to capture the quirky and authentic character of the city and its people; particularly on the side streets and alleyways (soi) where life and activity is prevelant and authentically Thai.

I created Bangkok as a means to showcase some of the images in the medium I felt could best show the narrative of the city and my effort to arrest candid gesture and moments. Making it was the catalyst for me to make books a focus and an expressive end point of my efforts spent with the camera in hand.  

Bangkok is a 60 page, 21x21 cm self-published, perfect-bound book with soft 300gm cover.
